We thought she was heat sick so we brought her into the cool basement and tried giving her water & electrolytes and nutri-drench. She doesn’t

want to drink or eat or walk. Although she is no longer panting or acting hot she is still just wanting to sleep and lay there. Could something else besides heat be the problem? I don’t know what else to do for her.

Does she lay eggs? Can you insert a clean finger into her vent to feel for an egg? Her tail down position looks like she could be egg bound or very sick. What do her poops look like? How does her crop feel? Could she have been kept from food or water? Try offering some Pouktry NutriDrench 2 ml orally slowly, a little at a time, or electrolytes in her water. Moistened feed and scrambled egg can be given to help tempt her to eat.
