Sick chicken please help!!

At her age she still could be a candidate for possible coccidiosis. That can cause a crop slowdown. Symptoms of coccidiosis are sleepiness, standing around hunched with the neck pulled in, runny poos sometimes may have blood or mucus, poor appetite, and weakness. At this point if she has any symptoms, I might go to feed store or TSC to get some Corid (amprollium) and treat her for 5-7 days. Dosage is 1 1/2 tsp of the powder or 2 tsp of the liquid per gallon of water. It is safe for the other birds to drink, or treat her alone. If you do Corid, stop the vitamins until after treatment, but make sure that she is drinking plenty.

If it is coccidiosis I'd treat all birds since it's safe to assume they all have it regardless of symptoms. Make sure it's the ONLY water they have, make a fresh batch every day. Like Eggcessive said, stop vitamins (amprollium is a thiamine blocker, which is what the protozoa feeds on). After treatment give them Rooster Booster or other vitamins in their water for a few days. Make sure the vitamin has thiamine. If she's not eating & drinking, you may want to consider tubing some fluids into her, followed by tubing food. Fluids utmost importance before food. If the crop (right side of the chest) is hard and large, it's probably impacted. Large and squishy with foul breath could mean a sour crop. To determine wether you have a crop problem, I would suggest taking out the food and water from the coop for a night. In the morning, check her. If the crop is flat. You are good to go!

I checked several of the other chickens crop this evening. Hers was about the same. I will update in the morning with new weight and crop size. Thank you all for all the information. It truly means a lot!!!!

If she isn't eating well, which it sounds like with an empty crop (or was that only in the morning?) I think you need to entice her to eat. I was able to spark my chicken's appetite with live meal worms. I was also able to feed a sick chicken by creating a paste of baby bird feed and water and swiping little bits into her beak so she would swallow it naturally. Can you try either of those?

That was this morning, this afternoon she was full but not hard.

So her weight this morning was 1lb 5oz. Her crop was small and squishy.

Update: Sorry I haven't posted sooner. I haven't been feeling well. So my pullet is doing better everyday. I got the fresh farm feed and she has been eating and drinking a lot more. She has her tail up again, and holding her head out more. I don't have her weight in front of me, I'll post it tomorrow. Again thank all of you for your thoughts and advice!!!
