I found her standing up sleeping the other day, found red blobs in her poop. She’s not eating, drinking a little. She is 28 weeks old, I’m treating her for coccidiosis, giving corid and antibiotics
Any ideas on her poop???

Is vet care an option?
Can you post a photo of the whole chicken/pullet?

What do you feed, including treats?

What antibiotic are you giving - product and dosing?

Have you dewormed her?

You can give most antibiotics with Corid.

Liquid Corid dose is 2tsp or Powdered Corid Dose is 1 1/2tsp per gallon of water given for 5-7 days as the only source of drinking water.
Do not add any extra vitamins/electrolytes that contain B1(Thiamine) to food or water during the course of treatment.

I'm no expert but I don't think I would give antibiotics at the same time with Corid. Let me ask somebody.
@Debbie292d what do you think?

Yes I’ve been talking to the vet. She said it’s fine to do an antibiotic with Corid. She’s not eating, not even treats, I’ve tried eggs but she won’t eat. Can you deworm and use corid together?

I believe Safeguard or most dewormers and Corid are fine together; however, I personally wouldn't all three at the same time just so she's not overtaxed with drugs/products, but if you can ask the vet that question too, that would be best.

Corid you could do for just five days (recommended 5-7). The antibiotic is probably 5-7, and Safeguard is 5 days.

Whichever you decide, remember to follow up with a couple of weeks of probiotics when done. That can be the powders for their water which is easiest, but if already putting other stuff in their water, I'd give a tablespoon or so of Greek yogurt daily, per bird.

Ok I think I’ll wait in the dewormer till she’s done with the corid. I tried yogurt the other day, she won’t eat anything 😞
