Hi All;
My poor gals. I have 3 older gals and 6 new gals. Unfortunately one my new gals brought some sort of cold in to my flock; even after keeping seperate before integrating them. All 3 of my older gals have caught it. They are gurglilng when they breath, have snot bubbles, and one of them seems to have the cold in her eye. Below are photos of her and a short video. I have seperated the three sickest. I have dosed everyone with Tetracycline in their daily water supply for the past 5 days and used VetRx twice daily; 4 drops down their throats and rubbed around their beak to help. My older gals are not improving at all!! The 6 new are now all vibrant and fine and my older gals are miserable. I'd so appreciate any ideas anyone has to help me help my gals. I am concerned my one may have her eye damaged because it is so swollen and filled with thick white pus.

Here is a front view so you can see how swollen her right eye is. I have gently removed alot of thick white, cheesey looking pus twice a day from her eye by applying a warm, wet compress.

Lookup Coryza and MG. I think you can tell the difference because Coryza has a really bad smell. It really doesn't matter which disease they have though, they will be carriers for life and a threat to every other bird. Sorry.

But this is one of my older gals, 4 years old; never ever been sick a day in her life. The new chicken brought a cold and this is what she ended up with. She does not smell at all, just laboring to breath and pussy eye. I will look up both you suggested. Thanks so much.
