Hello all,
I am a new chicken owner (technically a foster chicken parent as I am renting a house with chickens). Flock of 8
I came home tonight around 7:30 and one of the chickens wasn’t in the coop. She was sitting in a corner of the run, with her eyes open. She let me pick her up, which is unusual. She would stand for only a few seconds before sitting back down. All the feathers look like they have been plucked from her butt. The run is predator proof as far as I know (though the owner has a rat trap in there). He told me she probably got bullied by the other chickens, which had happened before and told me to put her in the coop for the night. I put her on a roost and she is sitting there but not moving. What should I do?
