I’ve had my chickens outside in a chicken tractor for a couple of weeks now. We move it every other day and things have been going really well. This afternoon I went out and one of my chickens was making a weird chirping noise and just sitting. I got her to get up but after a couple of steps she sat back down. She ate from my hand and got a little bit of water. How concerned should I be?

Can you post some photos of your chicken and her poop?
A video of her actions/noise may be helpful - upload video to youtube and provide us a link.

How old are your chickens?
How many are in the tractor (dimension of the tractor)?
Look her over to make sure she's not got an injured foot/leg, is it possible that she got it hung/injured when the tractor was moved?

It's hard to know with chickens sometimes. I would make sure she is not getting picked on or trampled by the others. See that she is eating/drinking. Give her a direct dose of poultry vitamins like Nutri-Drench or Poultry Cell at a rate of 1cc per 3 pounds of weight.

Hopefully with more information and photos/video we can give you better suggestions.

I think they were just hot. I went back out to get a video and they were doing ok. I might have slightly overreacted, but it was different and I was concerned. Thank you for your response.
