Tonight when I went out to the barn my one Barred-Rock was laying on the ground not moving. The other chickens were all moving around and she looked like she was sleeping. She seemed to be breathing heavy but with her mouth closed. I couldn't get her to stand up. I tried getting her to drink and eat but she wouldn't. I ended up syringe feeding her some water. I finally got her to stand for a minute after that. Her eyes look fine and no congestion. Her comb is flopped over. I've isolated her from the rest of the flock. I'm not sure what else I can do for her. Unfortunately I don't have and chicken electrolytes on hand. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Gatorade is a good substitute, and that’s about all I know. But good luck with your chicken and I’ll be praying for her!

Sounds like dehydration but I could be wrong, I had a chick with the same symptoms that I couldn't diagnose (thought it was a disease but turns out it was just dehydration) and she died a couple days later. Your chicken can stand so that's good, just give her more water and she should be fine...
