Sick chicken

I have one chicken her belly is very distended. She sags her butt and she doesn’t seem like she wants to walk around all that much. She’s still eating but she doesn’t seem right at all. From what I saw online sounds like she has a broken egg stuck inside her. Is there anything I can do or should I just put her out of her misery?

Sounds like she’s egg bound. Keep her separate from your other chickens in a place where you can keep an eye on her. Do you have any Tums on hand? If so, they are safe to be given to provide a calcium boost, you can break them up and mix them into food, or you can gently hold her beak open and force-feed her the pill.
I would also advise you give her a warm Epsom salt soak, keeping her bottom half submerged. The Epsom salts will help relax her muscles and allow her to pass the egg.
