Sick chicken

:(This am I went out to find her. My girls could not find her last nite. She was laying by the fence to her coop. Her eyes are closed but she is still breathing, my husband said he would take care of her today. Will my other chicken be ok by herself, so far she seems to go about her daily routine and not seem lonely. thank you for all the advice.

asking everyone I know for chickens, I'm a hairdresser in rural Colorado, I started my hunt in july. Last nite I recieved a call for 4 silkie roos, 3 months old, I declined the offer. Hopefully some one will offer up a few. This am I feed my hen grapes and cheerios, with her corn. I dont know who enjoyed it more me or her.Thank you for your reply

got a new chicken last night. friend brought over a 3 month old banny (?) roo. he is from same place I got my hen from, so I think they should get along. this am he was a crowing away, I hope the neighbors think its cute. Thank you all for your advice.

regarding the advice to give medicated chick starter... your post said this bird was several years old... chick starter is only for chicks and should not be used on adult birds... (would be of no use anyway)
If I were you I would take a sample of their poos in for a faecal... if they have worms then the vet can also tell you which med to use that will be effective....
