Hello i have a 2 year old hen that i noticed today that she was very slow to go play in the yard with the others . Its wincing like its in pain. I checked for egg bind and did not notice anything. Could she have injured herself in the run ? Poops are watery because its been so hot here in florida. They have plenty of fans. I notice she doesnt want to eat or drink but had two pieces of corn. Thanks for the help ! Shes inside in a dog crate now. Our chicken hospital if and when they get sick

When you pick her up, does it seem like she is thin/has lost weight?

Do you have any sense of how long she may not have been eating/drinking?

You might try offering her a mash made of her regular food and water. Do you have any electrolytes on hand?

I didnt notice her thin. She had some food in crop with a bit of water if felt like. Felt like a deflated balloon. This morning i checked on her and i opened the cage and the back door she walked right out and is eating and drinking. It was a soft shelled egg with a white grayish yolk that i found in the cage this morning

How is she doing now? Eating and drinking is always a good sign.

The soft egg could mean a reproductive system issue or not having enough calcium. If you search "soft egg" you'll find suggestions about how to supplement calcium for a short while to try and rebalance her levels.
