Yesterday morning I went out to feed my chickens and my Easter egger hen was low to the ground and wasn’t walking but talking small waddle steps. I assumed maybe she was egg bound so I gave her a soak and later int eh day she laid an egg. It was cracked all over and weird looking and had small amounts of blood streaked on it. After laying the egg she seemed fine, I keep her inside overnight to keep an eye on her. Today I checked on her and she is worse then when we started. She won’t stand at all, almost seems like her legs won’t work at all, she just falls forward. She also has really labored fast breathing, gaping mouth.

I'd give her 300mg Calcium Citrate+D3 now, then once daily for a week.
Hopefully the Extra Calcium will help her expel the egg or material she's struggling with.

If you don't have Calcium Citrate give 1 TUMS daily.

A soft shelled egg can be stepped on an cracked like the one you show in the photo.

Work on hydration and see if she will eat.

Thank you! The actual broken part is from my thumb when I went to pick it up but if you look closely there are weird line/cracks all over the egg. Does it matter what flavor the times are and how do I give them to her?
