Sick Chicks—Looks Like Something Contagious

Looks fine to me.
Looks like they are moving around eating/drinking o.k. too?

So what symptoms are you seeing again?
Any fumes from vehicles, paint, etc. in the garage?
No fumes or paint. We recently moved so mostly cardboard boxes—no room for a car in the garage. Lol

Symptoms are shut/swollen eye with bubbles and nasal drainage.

I got 3 Cochin chicks and 9 guinea keets from the local breeder. I put them in with 8 buff Orpington chicks and 8 bantams chicks, all from Tractor Supply. We’d had the BOs and bantams about a week at that point. That first guinea keet had a swollen eye, but no noticeable drainage. The second keet that died had no noticeable symptoms. The black Cochin chick started closing his eye on Thursday. Eating, drinking and active. Normal poop. He’s still got issues with his eye with more noticeable swelling around his sinus on one side (same side as eye). A lot of head shaking and scratching at his eye. He also has nasal discharge on both sides. Another bantam chick had nasal drainage and closed eye with drainage Friday but is totally fine again today. He never acted sick either. The Cochin chick that died last night didn’t display any of those symptoms. Just acted a bit off and stayed under the brooder more than usual. The third Cochin is very small—probably half the size of the black Cochin even though they’re the same age. It’s like she’s not growing at all. She closes her eyes frequently and seems to have a hard time breathing. Also has nasal discharge on one side. Eyes are clear. Still eating and drinking and moving around. The rest of the guinea keets and chicks seem fine. All active, eating, drinking with normal poop.

I was told by the breeder I could try LA 200 or Denagard.

Pictures of the 2 remaining Cochin chicks.

What's the poop like?

They do have something going on. Bubbles in the eyes is often Mycoplasma.
Getting testing would be a good idea so you know what you are dealing with.
Tylosin can be used to treat symptoms.

The ones affected only have 1 eye swollen? On the same side too? (left side?)

Poop seems normal.

Yes, so far only one eye affected. The guinea was the right eye. The Cochin the left. I think the bantam was the left but I’m not positive and he seems fine now.
