sick chicks, 5 died

Hi, I have chicks that are about a month old right now and yesterday noticed many of them have bald spots. Today I found 5 dead.
Their crops seem quite large. This is my second set of chicks. Last year I got 17 and they all were always healthy and never caused any concern. Now these girls just seem to have issues.
Any idea what the cause might be, or any medicine or remedies?
Really need some help!
