Sick chicks speading

I have chicks dying from dry poop getting them clog up. I lost 2 now another has it. I clean them, give olive oil inside and out. What is causing this? They are a week old and the temp is around 90 I just moved it from 95. They have chick grit, water and food. What can I do to prevent this?

I use vaseline instead of Olive oil. I find that it works better.

Thanks I put some on her vent. She is taking water on her own from a dropper. She is to weak to make it to the water. What causes this?
