Sick chicks?

We had three chicks hatch last week from our incubator and one hatch yesterday from our hen, unfortunately when we were able to finally get her to let us look under her there were 3 dead babies which we believe were squished by her on accident. My question is can we put the one hatched form hen that was were the dead ones were in with the three that hatched last week? I'm just wondering if being around the dead ones could it maybe have caught anything and spread it to the three healthy chicks?

Just being around your adult hen could pass something to the chicks that could spread to your incubator chicks - but, they'll eventually be exposed to those same germs anyway. It is a risk, but as long as the chick is acting healthy and the age span isn't too much, I wouldn't be afraid to try it. You can also let the hen continue to raise her one chick as long as she's being a good mom and not killing them.
