I have lost 3 chicks in the past weeks to the same symptoms, I have one acting sick today and am at a loss.
The chicks are 7 weeks old outside far separated from the flock. The sick one is noticeably lighter, and has cold feet. It is hunched up and was acting normal yesterday. They have been being treated for coccidia. But it doesn’t seem to be helping. I am going to treat for worms and add some electrolytes to the water.
The past chicks that have died have shown these symptoms as well and died within 2 days! They have slightly runny poop, drinking a lot, not eating once they start feeling bad. They are very weak 😞
This was the most recent to pass. The new sick one doesn’t look as bad yet.

What is your course of treatment and dosage?
What are you feeding?
Can you get some good clear photos of the poop?
Do they have housing with bedding/protection from rain/wind?

They have a full coop to themselves, they are tucked in (locked up) every night and in the run during the day, but have access to the inside of their coop at all times. I am treating with Corid the 9.6 liquid and am treating with 2 tables spoons per gallon. I am changing the water every day.
They are getting flock feed crumbles this is all any of my chicks ever get. I will try to get a picture of the poop but currently the live ones poop looks normal. It only changes when they are about to die 😢

What do you mean the poop changes when they are about to die? Color, texture?

Also, what's your weather like? Your temps?

The poop goes from normal to runny within a day of their passing (at least that I’ve noticed)
Weather has been pretty hot but like 80-90’s

Are they drinking well?
Any chance feed got wet or moldy, possibly moldy in the bag? Hot and humid weather, feed can mold quickly, I know it will here, so I don't leave feed out at night, I just take out what they will normally eat and give more if needed.

Crops empty in the morning?

Just brainstorming here.

Crops are empty in the morning and feed in brought inside every night 😞 I really appreciate any help! They are drinking well, when they go down hill they stop eating but continue to drink
