Hello everyone, I had a mom go broody and hatch two babies, but unfortunately, both the babies seem to be having ear infections that have spread to their eye. They don’t have any issues eating, drinking, standing or anything. They act normal like all my other chicks. The ear infection looked like a black scab which I was able to remove a lot of it but there’s some that I can’t seem to get out. I’ve been giving them colloidal silver. And their feed they always have red pepper flakes and oregano and their water has apple cider vinegar. I haven’t seen any mites on them. I’ve used antibiotic ointment on their eyes. Have any of you dealt with this or know what to do? Attached are two pictures of my little ones.

I agree, it does look like Fowl Pox. Are there any lesions inside the beak?

Take care when applying your ointment around the eyes, just dot it on and try not to rub too much to avoid spreading it.

For the ears, try to wipe them ointment in those too. Is there any pus in the ears at all?

It's good that they are eating/drinking.
