I have some chicks that are acting sick that we've been giving Terramycin. They seem to be moderately responding, but not as well as I'd like. I have some Tylan 50 but it's injectable (I have other livestock), not the "water soluble" kind. Can I put that in their water and if so, how much per gallon?

Before I went with the Tylan, I'd use the Sulmet. If they are dumpy acting, sounds like Cocci. Its been a year for that, from chicks that have never been outside to older poultry.
I would go into the search mode and type in Tylan.
Good luck with your sick chicks.

When mine had a cold, I injected the pullets with 1/4 cc and the hens with 1/2 cc of Tylan 50 for three days in the breast. That's the advice I got from this site and also from a local chicken farmer!
