SICK DUCK-Help

No shaking legs or head. I just looked outside and for the first time in over 24 hrs., she is laying down in a normal position. I was going to bring her some more warn water, but I don't know if I should disturb her. I feed them Dumor feed (pellets) from Tractor Supply. I give them peas but they haven't had peas in about 3 days, so that is not the cause of the green. She's got something going thru her and maybe she'll be able to fight it

I don't know where you are located , but could she have ingested a frog? I witnessed one of my mallard hens ingest an entire live frog (which I didn't think possible) and she was OK

Good luck with her--ducks are so incredibly hardy, there's a good chance she'll end up just fine. If she's sitting down again, that could be a very good sign.

Sounds like she probably got into something, and hopefully she'll recover. Do watch the others carefully. I learned the hard way that feed can go bad or be mis-mixed (even the big brands make mistakes sometimes) without ever smelling or looking wrong. I lost several young ducks before discovering the cause and replacing their food with a fresh bag. Most recovered very quickly, but one was too far gone (and a couple had already died). So if you see signs of others declining, you might want to get a fresh bag of feed & see if that makes a difference.
