sick duck? molting complications?

To any experienced duck owners: about a week ago I noticed my 8wk old pekin wasn't eating and was having these weird spasms where she would flip on her back so I separated her from the rest but in the process she tripped and hurt her leg. I put her in a kennel in my garage with a space heater and fresh bedding. After the first couple days I was sure she was a goner but I decided to take a chance and mix ibprophen and brewers yeast in her water. She seems to be doing better but my question is this she is pulling out her feathers and it seems to be scabbing a lot - is this normal? Is she molting or could this be a disease of some kind?
