Sick duck! Please help!

Well, we got back home and it was too late. My poor Mrs. Quackers has passed away. What ever she had killed her in less than 24 hours from first sign of symptoms. I am heartbroken. :'(

May remembering the good times with beloved Mrs. Quackers bring you peace and comfort. There is another angel in heaven. I feel for your loss.

*edit: I watched the vid and I just wonder if she may have had a foreign object obstructing the breathing. A good precaution for sake of the remaining house duck, is be very careful of small things that fall on the floor as they like to put everything in the mouth like babies. My own biggest fear is building hardware like screws and staples. We may already do the best we can at picking up, and some items are out of our control. The only advice(might not be good) that I've ever seen for trying to clear an obstruction, is to put the eraser end of a #2 pencil down the throat, which would be scary. Even then the object may just end up stuck further down the line sadly and some live for a long time with objects lodged at some point off to the side.

So sorry for your loss :( it is evident how much you love your Mrs. Quackers. You fought hard for her and did the best you could do. The level of love and care you gave her ensured she had a lovely and happy life albeit short.
