Sick duck?

So my duck has been waking up lately with one clogged nostril. This morning though it was clogged but also dried up run down her bill and a drop on her chest. I was able to pick the clogged part off to take a picture. Any idea of what it may be???

Ducks need water deep enough to dip their entire heads in at all times or they get clogged up....Can lead to Sinus issues or infection ?....

She has water the whole time, her head is completely normal not swollen or anything and her bill looks as it always does. It seems to only be first thing in the morning right when she wakes up. She is an inside duck but at night sleeps in a nester box I made for her. I put a different brand of pine bedding so I am wondering if maybe she is having a reaction to that....

Maybe and wonder if the air maybe too dry inside. Do you have air conditioning? lack of humidity can cause our sinus to get clogged so possibly that is the problem if nothing else is out of ordinary.

It could be because we keep the house cool at night and I notice when I wake up my nose is usually clogged up a bit with dry boogies lol but I am also pregnant so I figured it had to do with that

Not necessarily have to due with pregnancy, taking humidity out does dry us out. I see it a lot in winter with heat going. You could try getting some VetRX and applying some over her hares before bedtime. when she won't be dunking her head in water it's similar to vicks vapo rub just take a cotton ball and wipe over her nare holes.

You can get vetRX at pretty much any feed store. It is a vitamin and mineral blend for animals, not a medication.
