Sick duck?

My female duck is losing weight an her eggshells have become very thin.she eats well I feed mazuri water fowl plus fresh corn an meal worms she never misses a meal .Any suggestions?

You are the 2nd person to say that so we will add that to her diet.... she is over 2 now and this is just resent. We gave her a good inspection and found no evidence of any pest... so any advice is appreciated

Provide the oyster shell in a separate bowl...Is she molting, laying eggs?

She lays 5-6 eggs a week... and the shells aren't as thick as they used to be. We live in south Florida so all the ducks are melting but it's not anything abnormal. I know she should be smaller than the males but she is way smaller. She doesn't act ill

When they molt they can be off their feed some. So maybe add some poultry vitamins to her water for support. Also during molt you can sprinkle some dry cat food over top of feed maybe kitten so it’s small enough to swallow. Oyster shell is very important and will help build back her reserves she lost while laying.

Has she ever been de-wormed? And the Mazuri, is it the breeder or maintenance?

We will for sure do the oyster shells. Cat food isn't to acidic? And the mizuri is maintenance. We have there dropping checked every 2 months and no parasite but no they haven't been dewormed. I haven't seen any deworming for ducks at the feed store and I've looked for a water fowl vet with no luck except at Tampa zoo and Busch gardens. Have you tried googling "avian vet" and the name of the largest city near you?

I did and they treat parrots and birds of that nature but not ducks...
