I can't take him 2 a vet at the moment. Wish that I could.

Oh dear, he looks very sick! His best chance at overcoming this would be to see a vet ASAP. If you cannot see a vet he needs to be brought inside and placed in a warm room (80-85 degrees is ideal) ASAP. Once warm you need to weigh him, then start tube feeding fluids, then fluids and food. I would also suggest starting him on an antibiotic too. Can you do that?

I brought him inside the house about 3 days ago. I'm new when it comes 2 ducks. And I don't no what kind nor the name of an antibiotic 2 give him. That's what I been trying 2 find out is what 2 give him. I don't won't 2 lose my baby. But I don't think that he's going 2 make it.

It's 2 late he's gone. But thanks 2 everybody that was trying 2 help me. I going 2 miss my baby. I just wish that I knew what was really wrong w him. I believe that he was needing 2 be wormed but I just wonder if something else was wrong w him. He was in a pen by himself & a day or two before he got sick I told my husband that I was going 2 put him in the pen w our female duck & put the drake that was in the pen w her in his pen 4 a few days. Right after my husband & 2 of my kids came home about a year ago w him & he got bigger I was planning on putting him in the bigger pen w the other male Mallard & w have a female white duck I keep forgetting what kind she is but she solid white & a lot bigger than Mallards. And theirs 2 hens & a rooster in the pen w the 2 ducks also. But I been trying 2 learn about ducks & seen where somebody on facebook said not 2 put 2 males w only 1 female that they would fight all the time so I didn't cause like I said he was the 1 that I took 2 out of the 3. He wouldn't run from u like the other 2 does. I thought that when u buy a duck from Tractor Supply or a farm supply place that we get feed from would be tamed where u could hold them & he would let u pick him up but not my sons other 2 ducks. Thanks again 4 trying 2 help me. Do u recon that I should worm my other 2 ducks or not?? As of earlier they was still doing ok but I did noticed yesterday when I feed them that they wasn't waiting at the door 4 me 2 feed them like they normally are. But I just figured that they wanted 2 lay in the sun like they was doing & would eat later. But they didn't eat all their food & normally they will. I'm sorry 2 have 2 bother y'all. And write so much. I just don't won't 2 lose them too!!! This is my other 2 ducks that I have.

How often do you maintain your coop? Like cleaning out all the bedding and fluffing the bedding? How do you keep your feed?
Does the coop have ventilation?
