sick duck?

i have a female peking duck that has a very pale beak. the male's beak is normal colored. any ideas?

Duck bills come in different colors. In my expereince, male pekins generally have bright yellow bills while females can range from yellow, to pink to blue to green. My female, Miss Matilda, has a pink bill with green freckles.

How is your duck otherwise?

thanks for the reply. i guess i am concerned because it used to be orange and now is VERY pale. she lays lots of eggs but none of them hatch but i have read that it isn't unusual. i keep thinking she needs some sort of vitamin or mineral. maybe i am just a worry wort but really like my loud fussy anna!

It is normal for a duck bill to fade out during laying season.
Unless she ius broodya nd sitting on the eggs the eggs won't hatch. Why not just gather them and make breakfast?
