SICK DUCKIE HELP!

if the only thing he is taking in are liquids no solids then it will be very runny. but if he starts to take in solids it will thicken up a bit. Duck poo is always fairly runny though.

I had dome so. I should have been more specific. He hadn't drank normally on his own. It's 3:45am. He's "stabilized? I guess you could say.
After some advice from others on here, At about 11 I knew I needed to do something. A vet not being an option until payday... Friday. By then I knew it would be to late. I made the decision to source feed him the best i could. I watched 3 video's several times before even attempting. I knew he needed nutrients. I also got some poly v sol and baby food peas and spiniach. Attached are a few pictures of a time line. And recent poo. Thanks It's been a long nite... I've been keeping written record. He's at least drinking, small amounts on his own. I'm keeping him plenty warm. Lying on my chest or in my lap covered. The heater is on in the bedroom which is now 80° too hot for me, but he's the important one rite now. Also I put his friends on a clear box on the bed next to where we sat so he could see them. He tapped on the side of the box quite often while in my lap. Possible Seizure or muscle spasamThe first one occurred at 1:15. He started shaking, floped on his belly with his little wings and legs stretched out. He peeped very loudly for the duration. This worries me alot...Any ideas of what it could be? Here's some pics of the record and his poos.

Oh good. He's dranken and eaten something . That's great.
How are his bowel movements? Runny? Or normal.

Several hours is a long time to go without water during the day for a duckling, let alone 24 hours. I'm very concerned about the little one but don't have the certain knowledge of what to do.

If I where you I would have put drops on his tongue hours ago. Get a dropper and open his mouth and put some on his tongue. Some will go down his tongue eventually. Keep doing that, three drops at a time every minute at least. He's super dehydrated. Think about how much they usually drink.

I'm sorry I don't know how to not be so blunt. But he might not make it through the night, or till tomorrow night.

Seizures can be caused by B vitamin deficiency (some ducklings just need more than others do), too much heat (I doubt it, but this is sometimes the reason), dehydration and electrolyte imbalance, or infection, or injury.

In this case, I would lean toward needing more vitamins or liquid, but I don't know.

He hasn't had one since 6:40am. Now using water with sugar, ACV, & niacin through a tube.

I read that ducks don't have huge round crops like chickens. What's what is supposed to makes it easyer to not go down the wrong tube towards the lungs. I've never tubed an animal myself.

He should be just as warm as the other ducklings, sitting on the bed might be warm to us, but it's not the brooder warm.
Their crops are like the one on the left:

Inserting the tube is just like any other bird, and with a large enough tube it is almost impossible to put it in the trachea.
