Sick duckling... need help!

We have 12 ducklings that are 6 weeks old, 6 Rouens, and 6 Pekins (1 is only less than 2 weeks old) and 4 isa brown chickens. Waddles, our Pekin is very sick and cannot walk anymore. We have tried several things that have not worked. We just started her on liquid B complex to help swelling in her legs. Thought the lack of walking was due to niacin deficiency but now one foot looks to be in bad condition. Here are the pics. Please help us fix her. Was going to get Vetirycin spray but not sure this will help. Due to Covid-19 we have no income now, are not eligible for unemployment and no stimulus yet. So we do not have money to take her to vet right now. So sad She also had some sort of infection in her eyes that are responding really well to Terramycin. They are looking much better now.i thank you in advance for your help.

What caused the place on her leg that looks like something was wrapped to tight and maybe has caused infection? tell me what you have there antibiotics, ointment, Epsom salt?

The duck couldn’t walk so we saw on one of the threads to make a brace. She was able to walk but but we felt awful because after one day this is what happened. I meant to mention that in post but forgot. I feel like we made it worse . We have Terramycin and liquid B complex which we also saw on other post to give her. We were not able to the Veterycin spray yet but hopefully it is in stock tomorrow.

No way that ankle indentation and red mark was from a splint for one day, Plus its on both ankles. Looks to me like plastic identification bands were left on from when they were week old ducklings

It absolutely is. Rubber and was too tight. Yes it was wrapped around both legs and we used body of a pen, cut in half and put rubber band through it and put each end of rubber and on ducks legs. One day is all it took. It only looked a little sore and swollen after first day and looked more red/black after each day went on after it was off.

So start soaking these legs in warm Epsom salt water make sure she doesn’t drink the water it’s also a laxative. Go by directions on the container for how much ES to use. After bath. Do you have triple antibiotic ointment or neosporin? Use the Liquid b complex put 1 ml over some tasty treat she’ll gobble right up. You don’t want to put it in water it doesn’t work as well. If you can soak 2x a day that would be good and it will also help to strength the leg muscles just don’t leave her unattended since she can’t walk.

Keep your duck inside where flies cannot get to those wounds and where you can keep an eye on how much she’s eating and drinking.
