sick duckling

my ducks recently had 4 ducklings, three of which have been growing very well but one from the start has been smaller. it is now still the size of a young duckling despite being several weeks old. it seems to sneeze and have some trouble swallowing although it is eating and pooing fine.also it scratches the back of its head to the point where it has a bald patch. it is very lively but im not sure what is causing its small size and cold-like symptoms. any ideas?

I know someone on here had the same thing happen and the duck had a bad kidney or liver... ultimately it passed away =(

There are a number of things that it could be.

Does it have a way to clean its head frequently and safely? A head washer helps prevent serious eye, ear and sinus infections. There is some information about them here

It could have a respiratory infection - if you have a vet who can help, that is best. Try the head washing and see if that clears things up within a day or two.
