Okay, so I just recently bought 5 rouen ducks and 5 pekin ducks. At first they were all healthy but randomly all the pekins died as days pass. Now only the 5 rouen ducklings are alive. This morning, I found one acting dead. With its feet straight and looking really awkward. At first I though it was dead but when I took it in my hands it was alive again. Then I discovered another duck had the same symptoms as the other duckling. I'm really worried, what should I do??

First you need to give back ground, how old are the ducklings, what are you feeding them, where are they being kept. what on[shavings, straw etc.are they still under heat lamp what temp?

I think the ducklings are around a week old, and I don't have feed with me right now so I feed them rice, romain lettuce, and silver fish. I keep them in a small pond and in the house at night. I put newspapers on the bottom. We don't have a heat lamp yet.

They need heat, or they chill and die

They need proper diet again or they can become I'll and die

They are too young to be on a pond all day, duckling do not have the waterproofing adults do and their down soaks in water causing them to sink.

Newspaper is too slippery, rubber shelf liner, or pellet bedding or pine shavings would be better.

Any brand starter feed will do, some are better than others, but all would be better than what you are offering now. Tractor supplies, feed stores, even some walmarts carry it in stock.
