Could she have gotten into any molded feed? That can cause some symptoms similar to this. Does she appear to be eggbound???

That what I am suspecting to after reading a bit. the food and water are side by side in her slot in the coop. the water gets changed regular but her feed has piled up a couple days. I wonder if she got a bit of mold going? whats the fix at this point beside changing the food out and washing feeders? what can I do for the goose?

OMG! the coop was disgusting!
I had no idea it had gotten so bad in a short period of time. the grass clippings my son gave the geese to nibble had become like a mold factory. i shoveled it all out and washed the whole pen. well I know what is making the bird sick, now to get her well again. today she is out in the sun by herself with a bowl of fresh water a nice yard to nibble and a freshly dug tree stump to glean bugs from. we'll see how she does

Flushing the system is the biggest help right now Yetti. Activated charcoal sprinkled on her feed, lots of fresh water. Even some save a chick or water soluble pro bios will help boost her system and recover. Good luck with her, hope she is feeling better soon.

I don't have any activated charcoal, but I do have Diatomacious earth 35% calcium handy, I mixed that in her water dish as it should soak up toxins. right now she is out behind the barn staying out of the wind in a corner. I check on her every hour or so.

well she hasn't eaten much and pooped much as of yet. however the small bit that she has pooed out was the rankest I have smelled in some time. she is moving better and I have her in the pool right now drinking and swimming

she isn't doing great but she is moving today some. she really went down hill. however we are treating her with meds for a possible pneumonia dunno at this pint, keeping my fingers crossed.

well it was looking bad at last glance last night when I put her to bed. honestly she laid here head down and looked dead. my wife was crying. she was that way for a couple hours I guess. I went out about 9:30pm to check the incubator and heard her pecking at her water dish! so I flipped the light on and there she was laying down but head up and looking around. we'll see how she is this morning. I think the meds were helping as of last night. fingers crossed
