My hen is just over a year old and I noticed she was stand-offish and lethargic 2 days ago

I set her aside from the flock, she is not laying, she is not interested in food, and only drinks a little bit of water. Her comb is also pale

She is now in a dog crate with clean bedding, food and water

She mostly stays laying down but occasionally gets up and stands all hunched up

When she is laying down, she seems to be breathing heavy and closes her eyes often .. However I cannot hear any wheezing or sneezing

Does anybody have any advice? I'm very worried :(

    Welcome to BYC.

Can you post a photo of her?

How does her abdomen feel? (hard, swollen, fluid filled, normal)

When was the last time she laid an egg and was it normal?

It's possible she may have internal laying/reproductive disorder like Peritonitis.
Keep her as comfortable as you can and have food and water available - you can offer hard boiled egg or tuna if you think she will eat that, also wet a little of her normal feed to see if she might eat that. If you have any add some poultry vitamins to her water.
