He says it's best not to get the light bodied high production chickens as pets, as they often end up with these kinds of issues.
He also says to steer clear of most of the organic feed brands because he says he sees hundreds more cases like this from birds on these feeds. He mentioned Kruse specifically.I wonder if anyone else has heard this? He says he also does not recommend lay pellets, but prefers to feed his chickens the crumble instead.
He also says some other things that imply he's the only one qualified to do a single thing to chickens and that nothing should be treated at home but only at his office for hundreds of dollars, so I'm already wary of some thing she says...
