One of my chickens died after molting. I don't know why. No reason at all. She just was happy and healthy and then was gone.
Then a few weeks later, there was another one. Walking off balance, I started treating with molting immune boosters. She got better. She seemed to get better. No problems now with that chicken. Now this is over a time period of 2 or 3 months, my third chicken started wobbling and doing the same thing, keeping her head tucked in and acting like she was cold, staying kind of curled up. Then I noticed yesterday she was off balance and then she wasn't moving but breathing normally. She's still breathing. Two days later, we're giving her vet X on her comb, waddle, and feet. We're using a syringe, gave her some water and some liquid B12 plus vitamin K supplement. She won't eat. She did peck at a tomato yesterday when we were outside in the yard by the pool, me and her. I've since brought her in the house because she feels cold and it's about, I don't know, 50, 60 degrees outside. I don't know what to do. I'm hoping you guys can provide help. She's still breathing fine. We gave her six to nine milliliters of water, three milliliters of the B12 mix. I don't know what else to do. I have her wrapped up snuggie, looking out a window in my back bedroom. Any help would be appreciated. I've looked through the other forums and I couldn't find anything but then it's just probably me stressing.
