Hi everyone,
We have a chicken that started acting really weak. She was just standing in a corner of the coop, not moving much. We brought her inside and separated her from the others. We noticed she had some weird breathing sounds.
We put VetRx on the top of her head, her beak, under her chin, and under her wings. We also used a vaporizer with VetRx twice a day for about an hour.
Her breathing got worse, so we looked it up and decided to try amoxicillin. We gave her 250 mg every 24 hours. We’ve also been giving her electrolytes and a little molasses in her water.
She is still eating and drinking a little. She also has mites, so I don’t know if that could be part of the problem.
This morning we noticed she started tilting her head, and now we’re really worried.
Does anyone know what this could be or what we should do?
She sits like this even when she not in her housing.
The last thing is we not able to go to the vet.
