Hi! Thank you so much for responding. Im so sorry about your husband, I will 100% keep him and you in our prayers tonight.I am sorry I am late to this discussion. My husband was admitted into the hospital and I am trying to process a very aggressive cancer diagnosis for him.
She most definitely has a reproductive disease. Either EYP or salpingitis, but probably a little of both. She needs an antibiotic to start combatting the infection, but she will keep getting sick if you do not stop her laying. She also needs meloxicam. Meloxicam is not only to help her with pain because of inflammation reduction, but it is also therapeutic. For antibiotics EYP is usually mixed bacteria. I would use the "big gun" and give her enrofloxacin (Baytril). Next best is Trimethoprim-Sulfa. For Salpingitis, Clavamox (amoxicillin) is the best. I am learning towards salpingitis because of the egg shell symptoms and the lack of penguin stance gait. In any case, you need to stop her egg laying. The only way to do this is implants or Luprolide injections.
Thank you for the info! On a wonderful note, Beaky had a massive comeback today and acted almost completely normal. No aspirin only calcium.
