Hi all. I have a sick hen. She is a Pekin bantam. About a year old. We had to have our cockeral put to sleep about a month ago as he couldn't keep his balance, I fed him ricketts diet for a while and eventually he broke a leg (confirmed by the vet). About a week later violet seemed to have wry neck which I treated with vitamin e. But once the problem was resolved she then struggled to walk. I moved her in to her own coop and still seemed alert just couldn't walk very well. The other night I went out to her and she couldn't stand kept going to the corner of the coop and pecking at the walls. I moved her indoors and she is now in a dog crate. She doesn't like me picking her up and she can't stand. She lays on her side. She is still eating but seems to try to climb on top of the food plate. Any ideas what could be wrong?
