I have a 8 to 10 week old pekin duck. She has missing feathers on her side, not using her right leg and now she whistles when she breaths and has green liquid poop. None of my ducks have ever has a solid poop since I got them. She is eating and drinking just fine and is still very alert. She just wont move and whistles when she breaths. No panting. This is my first time ever owning ducks and everything I see makes me feel like shes deathly sick. Not sure what to do. I have no poop pics as of nowView attachment 2207100View attachment 2207101

Oh, and where are you?
It would be helpful if you had your location under your avatar picture.

Simple to do and really helps people help you. Just go to the top right where your "BYC name" is and click. A drop-down menu will take you to “Account Details”. If you put your location there it will always be under your picture.

So shes in a coop in a barn. I think it could be from my male. I'm out of town right now but I brought her with me. She wont use her right leg even in the tub. At this point I'm more worried about her possibly being sick This is her poop.

From the sounds of how she is acting, your bird is likely sick, and the poop is definitely abnormal too. Can you take her to a vet?

I have one drake, I called the one vet in town to see if he sees ducks and I havent heard anything back. My hubby doesnt really want me taking a duck to the vet (hes not as big of an animal lover as me) ive called tractor supply to see if they have any antibiotics or medicine for ducks and they said no. I'm brand new to this and dont know what to do besides make her comfortable and warm. Like I said she's still eating, drinking and biting my dogs if they get to close
