3-4days ago I’m not sure if my one Silkie rooster got into a fight with another rooster or it was a predator.. but it seems like something is going on with his crop. He’s doing better I immediately started him on Nutridrench and some raw egg. Within hours he was up walking around and drinking on his own. He’s still walking around and stuff but he went to just have some mash (I made him some to see if he could eat) and now he’s got like bubbles coming out of his mouth. I could hear him making a weird noise when he was trying to eat mash too almost like air bubbles or something coming up and out of his throat. Im up loading photos of what I am talking about (with the bubbles) any ideas what could be going on?

Is he eating/drinking better now, any more foam coming up?
I haven’t seen him eat or drink. I just got home from work at 5:30 and was packing my kids bags to go camping with their gma.

Yes, he still has foam.

Here’s two photos that I just took right now for you to see. I don’t know what’s going on or if I can do anything for him! This is throwing me for a loop.

Look inside his mouth for any small white splotches on the roof of his mouth and the back of the mouth. It could possibly be a yeast infection. It could be in his crop or further down as well.

Also look for yellow or necrotic looking lesions which could be either canker or wet fowl pox lesions.

I recommend giving your Silkie rooster an Epsom Salt flush for possible yeast infection. Put one teaspoon of Epsom Salts into a cup of water and stir it well until the crystals have dissolved. Give it to him 2-3 times a day using a syringe without a needle for 3 days. Draw up 5ml in the syringe and give it to him orally.
Give him no more than 1/4ml at a time when administering the solution or he might aspirate.
You can pull down on his wattles or fluff and his mouth will open so you can shoot the liquid in his mouth, quickly release the wattles or fluff so he can swallow the liquid. If you dont quickly release, he could aspirate. Then there would be problems.

If there are yellow or necrotic lesions, let us know. A different course of treatment will be necessary.

I'd check inside the beak for lesions or canker.

See that the crop is emptying, perhaps he has sour crop, though I've never seen foam.
Those were my thoughts as well so I checked already and no canker or anything that was visible inside the beak that I could see. That’s whats throwing me off too.(the foam)

I wanted to ask you @Wyorp Rock what are your thoughts on a ruptured air sac? Could that present the same perhaps?

We got back this afternoon from our family camping trip and he’s doing great! Eating and drinking and active. But I noticed now his bum is a mess! He’s never had a messy behind.

Is he eating/drinking better now, any more foam coming up?
Yes! He is doing so much better eating and drinking. I sat and watched him. I didn’t hear him making anymore of those crazy noises when trying to eat or drink. And he actually was wanting to eat and drink which that in itself is a huge step! I also didn’t see anymore foam! Im going to go check on him again as soon as I get back to my house to make sure now that he is done eating that no foam started again while I stepped out.

Thank you I appreciate it! There were no lesions inside his beak that I was able to see! Or into the throat as far as I could obviously see Idk about farther back where it’s not visible to me though!
