Sick Lethargic Chicken?

I'm unsure as to what's wrong but my 6 month old Lavender Orpington is acting like a bump on a log. I got my first egg today and I believe it's from her because she was the only one doing the squat thing when I reached down to pet her.....but now, she's just kinda laying around, acting tired and weak, not eating or drinking.....

What could be wrong with my girl?

Well, whatever was wrong, it's killed her....She died in my arms while I cradled her in my arms. I'm so terribly heart broken......I just don't know what happened. She seemed perfectly normal. No sneezing or coughing, just seemed to suddenly get tired. I know she wasn't egg bound. What could have happened to my sweet bird?
