Thank you Peacock. I know not all will make it and I didn't know what had happened to her before she was found. But like you said, I tried to make her comfortable and happy. She always tried to snuggle in my hair around my neck. Such a sweetie.

I know what you mean - we can't always save them all. I recently rescued a baby pigeon who fell from a 6ft+ drop. He was an absolute sweetheart! I kept him happy and well fed for over a week before he lost his appetite and that same day got some antibiotics into him, but it was too late. It can be tough, especially with unknown history as you said, like slow manifesting injuries or infections/diseases we can't see. But just know you did what you could, she was happy, and she knew you cared for her.
