Hello,
Thank you for allowing me in. I have raised many chickens. Am now working with pure breeds ..I bought silkies my first go I learned they are very prone to sickness. They need vaccines. I lost my male. Then his sister that hung with him got sick. I put her on vitamin b and she is slowly recovering. But now the stronger of the three is sick. They are free range and I believe she ate poision from a fire ant nest...as far as layers I have some broody hens. They all like to hog the best. Especially Hilda and Sally. Hilda is #1 in the pecking order nothing happens in the Hen house without her consent. I love to watch my flock
