Sick of cooking

It's what I do.

Mainly just whining. Not like I've been standing over the stove all day, just tied to it waiting on the bread to rise the chicken to be done the chicken to cool etc.

All for two people and my wife would truly rather go to the Dairy Queen for dinner even though she will thank me for cooking dinner and tell me how good it was. Sorry for whining again.

I'm sure the chicken would have agreed with her.

Your wife probably appreciates you taking to time to cook for her more than you know.

WOW! Homemade bread & cooking fresh chicken all in one day, plus a day of butchering right before--That's a lot of serious food prep!

I can rarely tackle such a lot at once--Bread's enough of a project in itself. As is butchering.

I'd give myself a big pat on the back if I were you! And collapse on the couch. With a big slice of warm homemade bread.

And enjoy the richly good food even if the rest of "the fam" is not as tuned in to the excellence to be enjoyed in good homemade food.

Sourland did not feel like cookin' tonight so we got Chinese take out. Yep, Sourland is the cook. Princess cooked the first 25 years and said that the next 25 were mine. If we make it to 2014 my time will be up. Wonder who gets to cook the next 25?????
