I think people point the blame too much on Marek's....... if the chicken never displayed any of those traits before the bite, then most likely that is not the case. Does a frightened chicken leave itself more prone to an onset of such diseases? I can't answer that, possibly, but the factor that plays a part in this is when AFTER the dog bit her is when she began to act unwell. I'm thinking she's just suffering from some sort of PTSD, if that's even possible with chickens? Still in shock?
