Sick peachick need help:(

That poor little one is in a bad way. At this pint I think you need to individually dose them to make sure they get enough in their system.

Anyone have dosage for little peas? I don't use Corid any longer because I felt like it took too long to kick in and I lost them in the meantime. Corid works by depriving the oocysts of thiamin so takes a bit for them to die off.

If u look at casportpony's posts she has a lot of links to posts about dosing and how. Normally u put it in their water but your little one is very sick so needs more than that at this point!

Ok so hopefully today I can buy some corid and baytril. They seemed very active and curious this morning and are starting to wonder off, but I'm still buying them the medicine since their droppings haven't changed much.

The daily dose needed is 20mg/kg. If they're drinking enough it's 1.5 teaspoons powder per gallon or 2 teaspoons liquid per gallon.

Powder drench - 1/2 teaspoon powder and 9ml of water make 10ml of a concentrate that has 27mg/ml. Oral dose is 0.075ml per 100 grams once a day for one or two days in addition to their medicated water.

Liquid drench - Give undiluted at 0.02ml per 100 grams once a day for one or two days in addition to their medicated water.
