Sick Peachick?

I've been hand raising a peachick since her mother died. She had 3 other siblings (four in total) but one was attacked. The other two ended up dying from something. We've also lost another peahen to what looks to be the same thing as well as her 4 chicks. They all hunch up for a couple of days before dying.

Now the last surviving chick is hunched up. The only difference is that she's eating still and walking around. She doesn't look to be getting worse.

Hi there, sorry your peachick is sick? Is a vet an option?
When mine get sick it's always coccidiosis, worms, or e. Coli & blackhead, and all of those require different medications.

Sounds like cocci.

I agree, probably cocci, if it were blackhead it would be dead already. Might also be worms, can you post a close up of the stool?

Sorry, she died last night. Hopefully next season we’ll try again.
