Help I have a sick peahen she is acting like she can't breath and looks like she has loose stools

Gapeworm perhaps? Is she gasping for air?

Do you have safegard for goats? Or ivermectrin wormer for cattle? If so get a syringe with a tube attached where the needle goes on the end,about 4-5" long. 2cc's of Ivermectrin or 6cc's of safegard down her throat. Make sure the tube is way down her throat,you may need to hold her head and beak sorta upwards,slide the tube down her throat and slowly squeeze until the syringe is empty. Do this again in the morning and late tomorrow afternoon. 3 days total. Ivemectrin will start shrinking the gapeworm almost immediately.

could be capillaria or gapeworm , FBC has good suggestions for wormers but prohibit would be another good med. to try but you need to do something asap.
The pipettes make for easy dosing , you can get past the trachea very easily with those and right to/in the esophagus with no trouble.
Just need to hold the bird's head up for a bit after squeezing the meds. in the throat to be sure none comes back up that could possibly wind up in the windpipe.

Worming her is a very good idea, but I'd also take her to a vet if you can. I've seen quite a few sick peafowl and they're usually near death by the time they're having a hard time breathing.

Thanks everyone for the advice,I have given her the 2cc of ivermectin an will keep doing so for a couple of days, the only
Ivermectin I could find was for sheep is that ok? She is still breathing like it's her last breath but hopefully some improvement

Last season I had a bronze hen start to gape and act like she couldn't get her breath. Noticed it late in the evening,made a call and was told to dose her with safegard. Following night she didn't make any improvment so I made another call to a diffrent person who told me to use ivomec for cattle down the throat,but it was too late that night to buy as the store was closed. Next morning she was the same,although she had been given 3 more doses of safe gard per my first call to a breeder. That evening she was gone. Seems about 3 days is all you have to get this under control. The ivomec actually causes the worm to start to shrink in size allowing more room in the throat.
