Yeah, it's rather long.
On the other hand, it could be an respiratory infection, either virus or fungus. Without swabbing the birds throat, and looking to see if there is any thing that looks like red threads on the swab, it's hard to tell by visual signs alone. If it's a respiratory infection via a virus, ivermectin won't work anyway.
