Sick pullet, please help!

yeah. one of our birds got gapeworm. it kinda made a "arf-like" grunting noise then extended its neck. it can be lethal if not treated. another comment on gapeworm is that the inspection is not so easy. just try getting a swap from a chicken's throat. not so easy. until the bird is very much infested it will still have energy to give a good fight.

gapeworm is just mentioned so much on this forum you'd think it was the most common ailment. every thread has "gapeworm" mentioned at one time or another.
