Sick Pumpkin Hulsey

I have a sick Hulsey hen. She was fine last evening but today she cant walk hardly at all and you can see her legs trembling. You can actually feel her shaking when you pick her up. Her tail is down her poop is watery. Keeps going to the waterer and drinking very often. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hmm did she get into something to eat that wasn't good for her I wonder?

Other thought is worms or coccidiosis. How old is she?

Any rat poison in the area? Or could she have ingested any moldy food on the ground or in a compost pile? Has she had any gasping or cough?

No gasping. She has been in a pen by herself. No free ranging. The only thing I have done different is give her some beans and rice and ham. Gave the same to the other chickens they are fine. Got my eye on her crop. It is full and kinda hard so I dont know if there is an issue there or not.

OK check her crop in the morning...it should be empty. If it is still full and hard (or full and squishy) you may be dealing with sour or impacted crop.

Then how will I deal with that? Have not dealt with that before.
