Sick Quail watery white poop

My 8 month female Gambel quail is not feeling well. She is the only one in her cage . She is lethargic. Laying down a lot. White runny poop. Though she drinks a lot of water sometime and this happens . Her feathers look a little forlorn .
She pecks a little at food and is drinking water . I do have an appointment with the vet but they can’t get me until 6am tomorrow. Any preventative advice until she gets seen . These symptoms have been for less than 24 hours . I did have someone say possibly could be her first egg laying??
She did eat quite a bit of an orchid plant lead the other day. They are not poisonous but maybe she just ate too much .

Watery poop is to be expected if she's drinking but not eating much. It's good that you have the vet appointment tomorrow. In the meantime, keep her warm. A heat lamp won't hurt as long as she can get out from under it if she gets too warm.

Thank you so much. She is quite the princess . She has a heater I am happy to report she has perked up a little bit .

Well. Seems my princess just needed to lay her first egg!! I am so relieved . Was a little soft so will be adding some more calcium to her diet .. thank you

I don't see anything to be worried about in her droppings. Is this the first time for her to lay an egg?

Yes.. this was her first time . So now I will know what to expect . She is back to her happy, active ,cute self .
